Privacy policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
This policy explains what the Quantty website (quanttyos.com) and the Quantty app collect, where that data goes, and what you can ask of us. In short: the website keeps only the email you give us for the waitlist, and the app keeps your research on your Mac. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use advertising or tracking.
Who we are
Quantty (“we”) is responsible for the data described here. You can reach us at [email protected] for anything in this policy.
The website
| Data | Why | Kept |
|---|---|---|
| Your email address and language, and when you joined, if you sign up for the waitlist | To tell you when Quantty is available. Basis: your consent. | Until you ask us to delete it, or when we no longer need it to announce availability. |
| Technical request data (IP address, browser, time), processed by our host | To deliver the site and protect it from abuse. | Per the host's standard log retention. |
The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or third-party trackers. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which stores the waitlist and processes requests on our behalf. To leave the waitlist or have your email deleted, write to [email protected].
The Quantty app
Your research stays on your Mac. Hypotheses, generated strategy code, backtests, research records, cached market data and settings are stored on your computer. We do not receive them.
No telemetry. The app does not send usage analytics, crash reports or your research to us.
Some data does leave your Mac, to services you choose:
- Your AI provider. Quantty's agent sends your messages, your hypothesis, the code it writes and the results of its tools (for example backtest metrics) to the AI provider you pick: OpenAI, through your ChatGPT plan (Sign in with ChatGPT) or an OpenAI API key, or Anthropic, through an Anthropic API key. That provider's terms and privacy policy apply to what you send it. Quantty asks OpenAI not to store its requests as retrievable responses (
store: false). - Your credentials. API keys and ChatGPT sign-in tokens are stored on your Mac, in files only your user account can read. They are sent only to the provider they belong to (for example, your ChatGPT token only to OpenAI) and never to us. Signing out of ChatGPT in the app asks OpenAI to revoke the session and deletes the tokens from your Mac.
- Market data providers. To fetch prices, the app contacts the data sources you use (for example Binance, Yahoo Finance, Twelve Data, Alpha Vantage, Birdeye, CoinGecko). Those requests reveal which instruments and periods you ask for and your IP address, plus your API key for providers that require one.
- Web pages. When the agent needs public information, it can fetch web pages, which reveals your IP address to those sites.
- Exchanges. Only if you set up paper or live trading with an exchange account, the app sends orders and your exchange API credentials to that exchange.
- Updates. When automatic updates are enabled, the app asks quanttyos.com whether a new version exists. That request reveals your IP address, the app version and your platform.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under Brazil's LGPD or the EU/UK GDPR), you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to [email protected]; we answer within 15 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Brazil, the ANPD).
International transfers
Our host and the AI and data providers you choose may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards.
Children
Quantty is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and its date. If a change affects how we use your waitlist email, we will tell you by email first.
